Feeling anxious is uncomfortable and can cause a person to feel helpless, lonely and frustrated. Anxiety can cause difficulties in your social, work and personal relationships as well as the level of functioning. Some of the symptoms of anxiety are:

– Excessive worry (difficult to control)
– Irritability
– Restlessness
– Easily fatigued
– Difficulty concentrating/ Mind going blank
– Muscle tension
– Sleep disturbance
Feeling worried constantly is an unsettling feeling, but there is hope. There are approaches used in therapy that can help ease your mind and have more control over your fears. Using mental exercises and processing your core beliefs in connection to your worries will be helpful to help ease your anxious symptoms.
